The amount of Cajun and zydeco music being placed on the web is increasing so fast that trying to catalog it all seems fairly pointless. However, this guide should give you a good start and points out some of the more useful and interesting sites. Enjoy ....

Radio Stations and Shows
(Note: these are some of the better-known online Cajun/zydeco shows. For a more comprehensive list of Cajun radio shows - online and off - see the website www.CajunRadio.org- you might find something in your town! - KBON 101.1 FM
  "Louisiana Proud"
  Located in Eunice, LA broadcast Cajun/zydeco mixed with R&B, classic C&W, and some oldies. Real music from the heart of Cajun Country. Often has interviews with local musicians. I listen to this station all the time - makes me feel like I'm back in Louisiana. I highly recommend it.
- KRVS 88.7 FM
  Another highly recommend station - KRVS is a listener-supported, public radio station, located in Lafayette, Louisiana. They broadcast live annually from the Cajun Music Festival, the Zydeco Festival, and the Festival International de Louisiane, as well as producing and airing live broadcasts of the Louisiana Crossroads series. There is a weekday Cajun show called "Bonjour Louisiane" 5-7am CT hosted by Pete Bergeron, as well as Cajun music almost all day on Sundays. Every Saturday Night at 7pm is "Live from the Liberty Theater" in Eunice, Louisiana, a Grand Ole Opry style Cajun & Zydeco music show in French and English with Dr. Barry Ancelet. There also is a Zydeco show every Saturday from 7am-12noon CT hosted by John Broussard and Melvin Caesar called "Zydeco Est Pas Sale".
- KLRZ (100.3FM and 1600AM) in Larose, LA
  "All Louisiana All The Time"
  Another great local Louisiana station. Check it out!

- WWOZ 90.7 FM
  Probably the Best New Orleans music station features Jazz, Blues, Gospel, and World music as well as some Cajun/zydeco content.
  In particular, try to catch:
  The Sounds of New Orleans - Sunday Morning, 11:30am-1:00pm, a Cajun Show with Charles LaBorde
- RadioFreeNewOrleans
  Another New Orleans music station has Jazz, Blues, Gospel, and World music as well as some Cajun/zydeco content. On Wednesday, RFNO features Cajun/zydeco content.
- Cullen Washington's Zydeco Show
  KZWA 105.3 FM - Lake Charles, Louisiana - The show airs Saturday mornings from 6am - 10 am. D.J. Cullen Washington has been bringing zydeco music to the airwaves for the last 18 years.
- Dancing on the Air (Albany, NY)
  Jay Ungar and Molly Mason's radio show on WAMC 90.3 FM. They now have a web site with on-demand streaming audio clips of shows starting with November, 1999. Folk, Celtic, Swing, Cajun, Zydeco, Old-Time Country, Bluegrass, Rockabilly, Blues, Jazz, Pop, and more
- Pine Grove Blues (Hartford, CT)
  WWUH-FM 91.3 FM
  'A Visit to Louisiana' from 5 - 6 AM on Thurs. (all Louisiana music) and ' from 6 - 9 AM on Thursdays.(American roots music with some Louisiana music. For more info., see River City Slim.
- Tabasco Road (Tucson, AZ)
  Show is devoted to the indigenous musics of Southwest Louisiana, to wit: Cajun, Zydeco, just a touch of Swamp Pop & the occasional Blues tune. Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 PM MT on KXCI 91.3 FM
- Down Home (Northridge/Los Angeles region)
  Saturdays 3-5pm, KCSN, 88.5 FM - American music from folk, roots and traditional base, and beyond -- oldtime, bluegrass, country, Cajun, zydeco, NewOrleans R&B and other Louisiana music, blues, traditional jazz, gospel, Tex-Mex and more.
- Buffalo Bayou (California)
  DJ Jake Bacon features the Buffalo Bayou show weekly on Wednesday from 1 to 3pm pacific time on radio station KUCI which is webcast on the world wide web at KUCI, 88.9FM and also broadcast locally in Mission Viejo, Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, and Orange. Jake's playlist includes zydeco, swamp pop, Cajun music and bluese

- Louisiana Rhythms (Twin Cities Area)
  on KFAI-FM at 90.3 and 106.7 FM plays Cajun and Zydeco, with a little Swamp Pop and Blues thrown in. Louisiana Rhythms can heard on Fridays, from 9 to 11 am. The page also lists a schedule of upcoming shows and topics and an archive of playlists from past shows. Recent highlights include interviews with Sonny Landreth, Horace Trahan, and Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys. I'm one of the programmers along with Eric Mohring of the Bone Tones and Millie Ortego.
- Cresent City Music Show (Florida)
  Steve Apple's radio show with New Orleans and Cajun/zydeco music from South Florida Radio and cybercasting via www.eyeqradio.com on Thurs., 8pm
- Louisiana Dance Hall (Richmond, VA)
  Talia Moser plays a mix of Louisiana music on Monday nights, 9-11p.m. on the internet at http://www.wrir.org, a community low power fm station.

  Try the "Mardi Gras" station that features New Orleans music as well as some Cajun/zydeco content. The Spinner player is pretty nice with some cool features, but you have download and install another piece of softeware.
Satelite Radio
- Texas Fred's, The Zydeco Cowboy's Satellite Trail Ride on XM Radio
  Brings an hour of zydeco music to XM Radio, Channel 14 (X-Country), weekly on Monday 7 pm ET, wtih encore presentations Wednesday - 11:00 AM ET and Saturday - 10:00 AM ET
